reasons to go vegan
Benefits of going vegan
There are many benefits of going vegan.
I can share endless scientific reports proving how successful a vegan diet can be in managing and sometimes curing chronic disease, improving energy and improving overall health.
This scientific data is valuable but not as tangible as real-life experience.
And so I conducted a survey.
I found vegans and asked them to share what benefits they experienced when going vegan.
To make things interesting, I broadened the search to not only include scientific data and the physical changes that occur but also moved into holistic changes.
We included benefits of mental, emotional, spiritual and overall life.
Physical Benefits of Going Vegan
As a vegan myself, the benefits that came up in the survey were expected.
Veganism can help with chronic, acute and overall health. It can prevent disease as well as cure disease.
In some cases, the results even defy what modern medicine thinks possible.
Veganism can help with Acute or Chronic imbalances
Here are some of the diseases that veganism has assisted in:
- IBS
- More Energy
- Reverse diabetes
- Lowering of high blood pressure
- Weight Loss
- Improved Vision
- Improved Digestive disorders
- Improved Arthritis
Mental Benefits of Going Vegan
The mental changes were astonishing.
Many reported a significant improvement in their mental health.
There was an improvement in the clarity of their thoughts
There was less brain fog.
Overall thought processes were improved.
Emotional Benefits of Going Vegan
There has also been an improvement in emotional health.
There has been an improved mood, less depression and anxiety and more peace.
Spiritual Benefits of Going Vegan
This is where the real surprise is.
There were many who reported spiritual as well as improvement in life health.
There is a deeper connection and respect for the animals and earth.
There is peace of mind knowing that animals have not had to go through the industry.
There has been a change in how one sees the world.
There is also, surprisingly, self-development. Who would have thought a diet can lead to an improvement in self?
